The short version: GradSail is an independent planning tool, not affiliated with any school, and not official academic advice. Always confirm requirements and transfer credit with your advisor and your school. Use it honestly, keep your password safe, and you own the information you put in.
These terms apply to the GradSail website at gradsail.com (the "Service"). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for activity on your account.
GradSail helps you organize courses, credits, grades and degree requirements. It is an independent student project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any university, and it is not official academic advice.
You're responsible for your own academic decisions, including which courses you register for.
You own the information you enter. You give us permission to store it and display it back to you only so the Service can work. How we handle it is explained in the Privacy Policy. You can download or delete your data at any time from the top of the planner.
Please don't:
The Service is currently free. We may add, change or remove features, and some features may require payment in the future. If we offer paid features, their price and terms will be shown to you before you buy. We try to keep the Service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and we may stop offering it. If we shut it down, we'll try to give notice so you can download your data.
You can delete your account at any time using Delete account at the top of the planner. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.
GradSail is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The University of Tampa, the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida, or any study abroad program or partner university.
School names, colors and catalog information are used only to describe which schools and catalogs the Service supports. They belong to their owners, and their use doesn't mean any school endorses the Service. Course approvals, degree audits and transfer credit decisions come only from your school.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, complete, error-free or uninterrupted, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, GradSail and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for any academic, financial or other consequences of decisions you make using the Service, such as a course not transferring, a delayed graduation or a registration mistake. Some places don't allow certain limits, so some of this may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll give notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
